Silver Star awarded for Mosul Offensive

Christopher Lewis, a combat controller with the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry during the Mosul offensive in Iraq in 2016, over the course of which he coordinated multiple precision airstrikes, eliminated a vehicle-born IED, and provided medical support to his wounded wingmen.
