    24th SOW hosts SOST and Combat Camera assessment

    The 24th Special Operations Wing hosted an arduous assessment and selection for potential Special Operations Surgical Team members as well as Special Tactics Combat Camera members. The candidates underwent a 5-day assessment conducting various activities to ensure they can perform their technical duties in the high-intensity special operations environment.

    TACP Airmen assess for Special Tactics

    Accomplished Tactical Air Control Party operators attended a week-long strenuous assessment and selection in order to join the Special Tactics community and continue executing precision strike missions under Air Force Special Operations Command and U.S. Special Operations Command. Only the most skilled TACP Airmen are able to join ST upon completing an arduous assessment and selection course, during which each candidate’s mental and physical fortitude and technical skills are pushed to the limit to determine if they can operate in the high-stress, fast-pace special operations environment.
