Fallen ST operators honored at NASCAR race

Family members of Staff Sgt. Scott Sather pose with the pit crew of the #1 McDonald’s Chevy, which bares Sather’s name on the windshield, before the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 race on May 27, 2018, Concord, North Carolina. Sather, who was the first Airman killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom on April 8, 2003, was among three Special Tactics operators and 37 other fallen service members honored by having their name carried on a car during the race.
