Cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy and Special Tactics Airmen dedicated a memorial to Capt. Matthew Roland, 27, killed at a vehicle checkpoint near Camp Antonik, Afghanistan, Aug. 26, 2015. Roland was a special tactics officer at the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla.
