24th SOW commander final jump
A C-17 Globemaster III from Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina, flies under an AC-130U Spooky gunship over Hurlburt Field, Florida, March 7, 2018. The C-17 is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft in the Air Force inventory, with the first C-17 squadron declared operationally ready in 1995, while the AC-130U has been in service since the Vietnam War, providing close air support, air interdiction and armed reconnaissance to troops on the ground for decades.
