Special tactics Airmen train alongside conventional Army forces at NTC 18-10

Special Tactics Airmen from the 21st Special Tactics Squadron from Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, set up sleeping arrangements and a security detail during a scenario as part of NTC 18-10 at Fort Irwin, California, Sept. 4, 2018. The primary role of the 21 STS at NTC 18-10 was to validate their own training prior to deployment, but additionally to demonstrate capabilities to joint peers and provide the I-3 (integration, interoperability, and interdependence) link between special operations and conventional forces.
